UP LPG Backlog Reduced to 5.4 Days, 8 Lakh Refills

The state-level coordinator office of oil marketing companies (OMCs) in Uttar Pradesh has announced that approximately 8 lakh LPG refills are being delivered daily across the state. The backlog of LPG deliveries, which stood at around six days last month, has now been reduced to about 5.4 days as per the scheduled booking list.

Current LPG Stock and Distribution

Sanjay Bhandari, the state-level coordinator, stated that LPG distributors and bottling plants currently hold a combined product day-cover of approximately 4.3 days. Stocks at the bottling plants are being continuously replenished from loading locations and import terminals.

LPG services are being provided to approximately 4.88 crore consumers through 4,143 distributors and 36 bottling plants across the state.

Fuel Supply Status

Bhandari added that 13,168 retail fuel stations (12,331 OMCs and 863 private) and 28 supply locations or depots are operational in Uttar Pradesh. On average, two crore litres of petrol and 3.3 crore litres of diesel are being made available daily.

“At present, sufficient stock of petrol and diesel is available. All retail outlets are functioning normally, and there are no restrictions on sales. The combined stock availability at our depots and retail outlets is sufficient to cater to 14 days of average nozzle sales for both petrol and diesel,” he said.
