MHT CET 2026 Exam Details

The MHT CET 2026 examination was conducted in two phases. The first phase for PCB candidates took place from April 21 to April 26, while PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) candidates sat for the exam from April 11 to April 20. The second phase was held in May, with PCB exams on May 10 and May 11, and PCM exams from May 12 to May 21.

Earlier, on May 30, 2026, the CET Cell released the final answer key for both PCB and PCM groups after reviewing objections raised by candidates.

MHT CET 2026 Marking Scheme

Under the MHT CET marking scheme, candidates received one mark for each correct answer in Physics and Chemistry. In Mathematics, each correct answer carried two marks. There was no negative marking, so incorrect responses did not lead to any deduction.

While the CET Cell does not prescribe fixed passing marks, general category candidates typically need around 90 marks out of 200 to remain competitive for admissions. For candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories, a score of approximately 80 marks out of 200 is often considered a reasonable benchmark.
