Drishyam 3 Actress Ansiba Hassan Makes Serious Allegations Against AMMA and Actor Tiny Tom
Actress Ansiba Hassan, known for her role in the Drishyam franchise, has leveled a series of serious accusations against the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) and actor Tiny Tom. The former Joint Secretary of the organization claimed that she was the victim of a conspiracy within AMMA and that raising complaints within the association is futile. Speaking to Manorama News Online, Ansiba revealed that she had previously approached the organization regarding issues she faced, but no meaningful action was taken. She said her experiences within the association led her to lose confidence in the complaint mechanism available to members.
Harassment Following a Police Complaint
Ansiba further alleged that a former executive committee member filed a false police complaint against her, resulting in her being questioned and harassed at the Thrippunithura Police Station. She spent nearly three hours dealing with the matter at the station. The actress later requested AMMA to investigate the circumstances surrounding the complaint. However, when she raised the issue within the organization, she was informed that there was little the association could do. She also alleged that Tiny Tom dismissed the matter and questioned the seriousness of the complaint.
Tiny Tom Was the Reason Behind Her Resignation
One of Ansiba's strongest allegations concerned her decision to resign from her post as Joint Secretary. She claimed that Tiny Tom was the primary reason behind her exit from the organization. According to her, differences of opinion on several organizational matters gradually turned into personal conflicts. Ansiba alleged that whenever she voiced a differing view, it was taken personally and used against her. She said, "Neena Kurup was the one who told me that he had been saying these things about me. Is it only because my name is Ansiba Hassan that people say I am trying to convert others to Islam? I may have different opinions on many issues, but does that justify spreading such stories about me? Tiny Tom has abused Neena Kurup in a very vulgar manner. I have also heard that he even raised his hand as if to hit Neena Kurup. I was afraid to speak about these things publicly because I worried it might bring a bad name to the organization or affect my career. The character assassination has crossed all limits. I had sent voice messages to all the senior members of AMMA saying that Tiny Tom was the reason for my resignation."
Alleges Defamatory Stories Were Spread
Ansiba also accused Tiny Tom of spreading false stories about her among people within the industry. She alleged that the stories were not communicated to her directly but were circulated among others and eventually reached her through third parties. The actress claimed that the intention behind such stories was to damage her reputation and credibility. Speaking about the nature of the alleged rumors, Ansiba said that character assassination remains one of the most damaging forms of attack against women. She stated, "Tiny Tom is spreading false and inappropriate stories about me. He doesn't say these things directly to me. Instead, he tells other people, and eventually those stories reach my ears through them. One of the easiest ways to tarnish a woman's reputation is by spreading stories of alleged affairs or illicit relationships. That way, it becomes very easy to destroy a woman."
The actress's revelations have sent shockwaves through the Malayalam film industry, prompting calls for a thorough investigation into the allegations. AMMA has yet to issue an official response to the claims.
