Reports suggest that 'Eetha' is inspired by the life of celebrated Tamasha performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar. The film is expected to explore different stages of her personal and professional journey. The narrative reportedly spans several decades, beginning from the 1940s and extending to the 1990s. The story is expected to showcase her achievements, struggles, and important moments that shaped her life. The project is being described as a biographical drama with strong emotional elements.

Shraddha Kapoor Reportedly Wrapped Up Shooting

Reports indicate that Shraddha Kapoor completed work on the film in May after an extensive shooting schedule. The final phase of filming reportedly involved a large-scale montage song sequence shot in Bhor, Maharashtra. The sequence is said to feature nearly 800 people. According to Mid Day, 'The final song has a montage that chronicles the journey of Shraddha's character from a young woman to her brush with fame and finally how she falls on hard times. Like the remaining numbers, this too has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.' The scene reportedly captures different phases of the character's life journey.

Reports further suggested that the project followed a nearly 60-day schedule and covered several locations. The team is believed to have filmed portions in Madh Island in Mumbai, Solapur, Aundhewadi, Satara, and Nashik. Shraddha reportedly began shooting for the project in November 2025. The film also marks her first collaboration with director Laxman Utekar.
