Residents of Faizullaganj and adjoining areas in Lucknow are set to experience a significant water shortage on the evening of Thursday, June 11. This disruption is due to the replacement of key water control valves at the Faizullaganj overhead tank (OHT), as announced by officials from the Jal Kal department on Tuesday.

Reason for Water Disruption

The Jal Kal department is replacing old sluice valves, which are large valves that regulate water flow in pipelines. This maintenance work aims to enhance the efficiency of the water supply system. Consequently, the evening water supply from the Faizullaganj OHT will remain suspended during the replacement process.
