Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that positive thinking, accountability, and sensitive administration are essential to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society. He made these remarks during a detailed review of the Balod and Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki districts under the Sushasan Tihar 2026 initiative.
Special Focus Areas
The review meeting laid special emphasis on several key areas to improve governance and service delivery. These include the speedy disposal of pending revenue cases, accelerating the construction of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), and expanding the PM Suryaghar scheme to more beneficiaries.
Pending Revenue Cases
The Chief Minister directed officials to prioritize the resolution of long-pending revenue cases, which often hinder the timely delivery of benefits to citizens. He stressed the need for a time-bound approach to clear these cases and ensure transparency in the process.
PM Awas Yojana Construction
Reviewing the progress of housing construction under PMAY, the Chief Minister called for expediting the work to meet the set targets. He instructed district authorities to closely monitor the construction quality and ensure that all eligible families receive their houses without further delay.
PM Suryaghar Scheme Expansion
The PM Suryaghar scheme, which aims to provide solar energy solutions to households, was also discussed. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to increase awareness and coverage of the scheme, particularly in rural and remote areas, to promote sustainable energy adoption.
Administrative Accountability
Chief Minister Sai reiterated that a sensitive administration is the cornerstone of good governance. He urged officials to adopt a proactive approach and maintain accountability at all levels. The review was part of the broader Sushasan Tihar 2026 campaign, which seeks to enhance the effectiveness of government programs across the state.
District collectors and other senior officers were present during the review and presented detailed reports on the current status of various schemes. The Chief Minister provided specific guidance to address challenges and improve performance in the identified districts.
