HRTC Resumes Delhi-Keylong-Leh Bus Service on May 26

Kullu: Around a week after the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) reopened the Manali-Leh highway, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has decided to resume its Delhi-Keylong-Leh bus service from May 26.

Bus Route and Stops

HRTC Keylong regional manager Anshit Sharma said the bus would pass through key destinations, including Jispa, Darcha, Baralacha La, Sarchu and Tanglang La, before reaching Leh.

Fare and Booking

"The 990-km journey from Delhi to Leh will cost a passenger Rs 1,839. Online booking is available on the HRTC portal," said Sharma.

Schedule

The bus will depart from Delhi at 12:10pm and reach Keylong at 5:30am the next day before arriving in Leh at 7pm. On the return journey, the bus will leave Leh at 3:30am and reach Keylong at 4:30pm.

Seasonal Suspension

The Leh bus service is suspended annually during winter due to heavy snowfall in the region.
