Shimla: In a significant move to bolster the cooperative banking sector, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday underscored the necessity of channeling state government deposits into the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB). This strategic step aims to fortify the financial foundation and ensure the long-term viability of cooperative banks across the state.

Addressing the audience after inaugurating a newly established HPSCB branch at Kaithu in Shimla, Chief Minister Sukhu articulated the pivotal role that cooperative banks play in fostering inclusive economic development.
