Q3 Earnings Season Heats Up with Over 40 Companies Reporting Today

The financial markets are buzzing with anticipation as more than forty companies prepare to release their quarterly results. Tuesday, January 20, marks a significant day for investors, with a diverse array of firms scheduled to disclose their financial performance for the quarter ending December 31, 2025.

Key Players in Today's Earnings Lineup

Several prominent names are among those declaring their Q3 FY26 earnings today. ITC Hotels, AU Small Finance Bank, Gujarat Gas, SRF, Rallis India, Persistent Systems, and Shoppers Stop are some of the notable companies set to share their numbers. This follows last week's earnings announcements from major IT players like Tata Consultancy Services and HCL Technologies, which helped set the initial tone for this earnings season.

Brokerage Previews Highlight Expectations

Brokerage firms have shared their insights and forecasts for some of the key companies reporting today. According to Elara Capital, ITC Hotels is likely to report a substantial rise in net profit. They anticipate a 16.3% year-on-year increase and a 40% quarter-to-quarter jump. Additionally, EBITDA is expected to surge by 18.1% compared to the same period last year.

For AU Small Finance Bank, Motilal Oswal expects healthy growth. They predict a profit after tax increase of 14.7% quarter-on-quarter, which translates to 21.8% year-on-year, reaching approximately ₹6.4 billion. This growth is expected to be supported by an expansion in net interest margins and a decline in credit costs. The firm also forecasts net interest income to rise by 12.7% year-on-year.

Regarding Gujarat Gas, Motilal Oswal notes some challenges. They expect volumes to decrease by 10% year-on-year and 2% quarter-on-quarter, primarily due to weakness in ceramic exports. However, they highlight that a pickup in volumes at Morbi will be a key factor to watch. The brokerage also anticipates EBITDA per standard cubic meter to increase by 11% quarter-on-quarter.
