Godlike Esports completed one of the most dramatic comebacks in Indian BGMI history to win the BMPS 2026 title in Jaipur on June 22, 2026. The squad, rebuilt under IGL Manya, finished dead last on Day 1 with just 20 points but clawed back across three days to claim the championship. The Grand Finals peaked at a record-breaking 729,000 concurrent viewers, the highest ever for an esports event in India, and attracted over 12,000 in-person attendees at the JECC arena.
Comeback from Last Place
After a disastrous opening day, Godlike Esports responded with a 70-point Day 2, climbing into contention. On the final day, they delivered under pressure to secure the title. Manya, the veteran IGL, broke down as teammates, friends, and family rushed the stage. The victory marks Godlike's first official BGMI title after years as one of the sport's most followed organizations.
Record-Breaking Viewership and Attendance
BMPS 2026 shattered previous records. The Grand Finals achieved a peak CCV of 729,000 concurrent viewers, making it the most-watched BGMI Grand Finals in India. On-ground attendance at the JECC arena exceeded 12,000 across three days, a landmark for a BGMI LAN event in India.
Podium Finishers and Final Match Drama
Divine Gaming, led by standout performer SLUG (Sonigra Raghuraj Singh) on home soil in Rajasthan, finished second. Victores Sumus (VS) recovered from 15th after Day 1 to claim third place, thanks to two Chicken Dinners and an explosive Day 2. In the final match, Jonathan Amaral—India's most celebrated BGMI player and founder of Team Apex Gaming—secured a Chicken Dinner, surging his squad nine places up the final standings.
Prize Pool and Esports World Cup Qualification
BMPS 2026 featured a INR 4 crore prize pool, doubled by KRAFTON India from INR 2 crore on June 8. Godlike Esports took home INR 1 crore as champions. They will represent India at the Esports World Cup 2026, while iQOO Orangutan secured the second India slot by finishing first on the KRAFTON India Esports Rankings after BMPS 2026.
