About STAGE and Jar Films

Launched in 2019, STAGE is India's first and largest dialect-based OTT platform, delivering premium web series, movies, and short-form content in dialects including Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Marathi, and Bengali. With millions of paying subscribers and backing from top-tier global investors, STAGE has broken the myth around regional content monetization. The brand is soon launching the world's first culturally-aware AI-filmmaking platform.

Founded in 2011, Jar Pictures (Jar Films) is a premier independent production house known for backing critically acclaimed films such as Gangs of Wasseypur (Parts 1 & 2), Nil Battey Sannata, the National Award-winning Marathi feature Killa, and Liar's Dice, India's Official Entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards.

This partnership merges STAGE's dominance in dialect-speaking audiences with Jar Films' cinematic grit and award-winning production values, setting a new benchmark for hyper-local content.
