Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, recently conducted an inspection of the 6-lane DND-Faridabad-Sohna highway project. This ambitious infrastructure initiative is designed to significantly reduce travel time and decongest the Delhi-NCR region. The project features a 4.6 km elevated corridor and a 5.2 km tunnel, which are expected to be completed by 2025.

The 6-lane highway will connect the DND flyway to Faridabad and Sohna, providing a seamless route for commuters. Upon completion, it is anticipated to cut travel time between Delhi and Sohna by nearly 40 minutes. The elevated corridor and tunnel are being constructed to bypass congested areas, ensuring smoother traffic flow.
