For cars, the one-way toll may rise from the current Rs. 255 to around Rs. 285, while the round trip could increase from Rs. 405 to Rs. 450. The authority has cited rising expenses for maintenance, security, and operations as the primary reason for the proposed hike. The Yamuna Expressway, which spans 165 km, requires regular upkeep to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
