Grasim Q4 Net Profit Jumps 28% to Rs 3,802 Crore

NEW DELHI: Grasim Industries has reported a nearly 28% increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 3,802 crore for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, driven by strong performance across its building materials, financial services, and cellulosic fibres businesses. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,973 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Standalone Performance

On a standalone basis, Grasim recorded a loss of Rs 164 crore in Q4FY26, compared to a loss of Rs 288 crore in the same period last year. The standalone loss narrowed significantly, reflecting improved operational efficiencies in certain segments.

Business Segments Drive Growth

The robust growth in consolidated profit was primarily attributed to the company's core businesses. The building materials segment, including cement and other construction materials, saw strong demand amid ongoing infrastructure projects. Financial services contributed significantly through higher lending and better asset quality. The cellulosic fibres division benefited from stable raw material costs and robust global demand.
