Hero MotoCorp has introduced a limited-time benefit on its recently launched flex-fuel commuter motorcycles. Customers purchasing the Splendor+ Flex Fuel or HF Deluxe Flex Fuel can now avail a discount of Rs 4,000. The offer remains valid until July 2026.
Price Reduction Details
The Rs 4,000 discount brings the Splendor+ Flex Fuel's price down to Rs 78,710 from Rs 82,710, while the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel now costs Rs 68,792, compared to its original Rs 72,792 ex-showroom price.
Background of the Offer
The announcement comes shortly after Hero introduced the country's latest ethanol-compatible commuter motorcycles. These motorcycles are designed to run on ethanol blends of up to E85.
Hero Splendor+ and HF Deluxe Flex Fuel: Key Features
While the overall styling remains familiar, both motorcycles feature refreshed graphics and a new digi-analog instrument cluster.
Engine and Performance
Powering both motorcycles is a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that has been extensively modified for flex-fuel compatibility. Hero claims the updated engine produces 7 per cent more power and 3 per cent more torque compared to the standard petrol-powered versions. Output stands at 8.4 hp and 8.3 Nm of peak torque.
Mechanical Upgrades for Flex-Fuel Operation
To ensure smooth operation with E85 fuel, Hero has introduced several mechanical upgrades. These include a new fuel pump designed to filter ethanol-rich fuel, an additional fuel filter for cleaner fuel flow to the injection system, and a recalibrated ECU that automatically adjusts fuel delivery according to the ethanol blend present in the tank. Hero says a total of 36 components have been revised to support flex-fuel operation.
Suspension and Braking
The suspension setup continues with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, while braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends.
Original Pricing Before Discount
Before the discount, the Hero Splendor+ Flex Fuel was priced at Rs 82,810, ex-showroom, while the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel carried a price tag of Rs 72,792, ex-showroom.
