Kauvery Hospital Campaign Promotes Tirunelveli as Healthcare Hub

Kauvery Hospital concluded a month-long multimedia campaign titled 'Yetharkku Ini Nellaiye Yellai?' (What is Tirunelveli a destination for now?) aimed at establishing Tirunelveli as a premier healthcare destination in South Tamil Nadu. The campaign garnered hundreds of public responses, with many participants identifying healthcare as a key strength of the city.

Campaign Highlights and Winners

Selected participants who highlighted healthcare as Tirunelveli's defining attribute were awarded laptops, smartphones, and smartwatches. The prizes were distributed by Mr. Vairamuthu, Unit Head; Dr. Lakshmanan, Medical Administrator; and Dr. S. Kavu Devi, Consultant Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical Care at Kauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli.

Healthcare Accessibility and Quality

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vairamuthu stated, 'Today, Tirunelveli has access to world-class healthcare services comparable to those available in major metropolitan cities. With the presence of advanced multispecialty hospitals and highly skilled medical professionals, people from Tirunelveli no longer need to travel to Chennai, Madurai, Trivandrum, or other major cities for advanced treatments. Through this campaign, we wanted to create greater awareness about the quality and range of healthcare services available locally.'

New Hospital Facility

The award ceremony took place at Kauvery Hospital's newly inaugurated building in Tirunelveli. The facility spans 2 lakh square feet and is a 300-bed hospital offering comprehensive care across 25 medical specialties.

This campaign underscores Kauvery Hospital's commitment to promoting local healthcare infrastructure and reducing the need for residents to seek medical treatment outside the region.
