Leela Hotels Hits Record Rs 457 Crore Revenue in Q3 FY26

Leela Hotels Achieves Historic Quarterly Performance Amid Travel Boom

Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd has shattered its own records by posting its highest-ever quarterly revenue. The luxury hospitality giant reported a staggering Rs 457.4 crore in operating revenue for the October-December 2025 period. This remarkable achievement marks the company's fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth in both revenue per available room and EBITDA.

Unprecedented Financial Growth

The company's financial performance shows extraordinary momentum. Operating revenue surged by 21% year-on-year to reach that record Rs 457.4 crore figure. Even more impressive, profit after tax skyrocketed by 162% to Rs 147.9 crore. Revenue per available room, a key industry metric, grew by 20% to reach Rs 21,551.

Anuraag Bhatnagar, whole-time director and CEO of Leela Hotels, expressed strong confidence in the company's trajectory. He stated that this performance reaffirms their unique luxury positioning and pricing power. Bhatnagar emphasized that their growth substantially outpaces India's luxury industry by nearly 2.7 times on a year-to-date basis.

Strategic Expansion Plans

Leela Hotels is not resting on its laurels. The company is aggressively pursuing expansion both domestically and internationally. They recently signed a management agreement for The Leela Jaisalmer and made their first international strategic investment in Dubai. This marks a significant milestone in their global ambitions.

The company currently operates 14 properties with 4,090 keys across 12 Indian cities. Their portfolio includes six owned hotels, seven managed properties, and one franchised establishment. Nine additional hotels are already in the pipeline for future development.

Ambitious Growth Roadmap

Leela Hotels has set ambitious targets for the coming years. Company leadership confirms they are on track to expand to 23 properties over the next three years. Their expansion strategy focuses on high-growth markets including Agra, Ayodhya, Bandhavgarh, Mumbai, Ranthambore, Sikkim, Srinagar, and Jaisalmer.

Specifically, they have secured a management contract for an 80-key luxury hotel in Jaisalmer. This property is scheduled to become operational by mid-FY27, adding to their growing portfolio of premium accommodations.

Backed by the Brookfield Group, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts holds the distinction of being India's largest institutionally owned and managed pure-play luxury hospitality brand. Their recent performance and expansion plans demonstrate their commitment to maintaining that leadership position in an increasingly competitive market.

The Indian travel boom continues to create unprecedented opportunities for luxury hospitality providers. Leela Hotels appears particularly well-positioned to capitalize on this trend, combining strong financial performance with strategic geographic expansion.
