Mahindra Unveils Major Aftersales Expansion in Delhi-NCR Region

Mahindra and Mahindra has launched a significant enhancement of its aftersales service infrastructure across the Delhi-NCR area, targeting improved customer convenience and robust support for its expanding lineup of SUVs and electric SUVs. This strategic move includes the establishment of a new training facility, the introduction of mobile electric service vans, and the addition of multiple service touchpoints to streamline operations and meet growing demand.

New Training Institute for Advanced Skill Development

As a core component of this upgrade, Mahindra has inaugurated the Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence, a state-of-the-art facility spanning 26,000 square feet. This institute is dedicated to upskilling service personnel in key areas such as sales, mechanical service, and bodyshop operations. Equipped with an experiential learning and demonstration hall, the center is designed to prepare teams to handle the company's increasingly technology-intensive vehicles, including electric SUVs, while adapting to evolving customer expectations for high-quality service.

Mobile Service Experience with Electric Vans

In a bid to enhance accessibility, Mahindra has introduced a new Mobile Service Experience through dedicated electric service vans, known as eVans, deployed across Delhi-NCR. These electric vans provide doorstep service and maintenance for Mahindra's electric SUV customers, offering essential services such as periodic maintenance, vehicle washing, and minor repairs. Each eVan is outfitted with advanced tools, including a battery pack with charger, hydraulic scissor lift, wheel balancer, and car care equipment. Mahindra plans to expand this eVan service to other key cities and increase the number of units in the near future, supporting models like the XUV 3XO EV, XEV 9S, and BE.6 to improve ownership convenience and reduce the need for service center visits in densely populated markets.

Expanded Service Footprint with New Facilities

Further bolstering its aftersales network, Mahindra has inaugurated five new service touchpoints in the Delhi-NCR region. These facilities add service capacity equivalent to 70 working bays, aimed at reducing turnaround times and enhancing service availability for customers. The new touchpoints will support Mahindra's comprehensive SUV range and include a dedicated commercial vehicle service facility in Northwest Delhi. This expansion underscores Mahindra's commitment to customer-centric aftersales support as the company scales up operations and prepares for higher volumes of SUVs and electric vehicles in the competitive automotive market.
