A significant fire broke out late Wednesday night at a textile embroidery unit in the Saroli area of Surat, resulting in the destruction of a large quantity of sarees, textile stock, machinery, and other materials. The incident occurred in the Ambika Industrial locality during the early hours.

The unit was closed at the time of the fire, and no casualties were reported. However, the blaze spread rapidly, engulfing both finished and stored textile products, causing extensive damage to the property.
Firefighting Operation
Firefighters from multiple stations rushed to the spot and launched an intensive operation to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby units. Officials stated that the fire was brought under control after nearly three hours of continuous efforts.
