Renault India Announces Up to 2% Price Hike from Jan 2026
Renault Cars to Cost More from January 2026

French automaker Renault has announced a price increase for its entire model range sold in India. The revised prices, which will be up to 2 percent higher, will come into effect from the first day of January 2026.

What is Driving the Price Revision?

The company has attributed this decision to mounting rising input costs and ongoing macroeconomic challenges. Renault India stated that while the exact increase will vary from model to model and across different variants, the hike has been capped at a maximum of 2 percent. The brand has not yet released a detailed model-wise breakdown of the new pricing.

A Limited Window for Buyers to Save

Prospective customers still have an opportunity to avoid the impending price rise. All bookings confirmed on or before December 31, 2025, will be honoured at the current prevailing prices. This provides a clear incentive for buyers to finalise their Renault purchase before the year-end to secure the best deal.

Current Lineup and the Duster's Return

Renault's Indian portfolio currently consists of three models: the entry-level Kwid, the versatile Triber, and the compact SUV Kiger. All three are set to become more expensive in the new year.

In other significant news, Renault is preparing to reintroduce a popular model to the market. The company has confirmed that the new-generation Duster midsize SUV will be officially unveiled on January 26, 2026. This comeback is part of Renault's strategy to bolster its presence in the competitive Indian automotive sector.
