Each trim level will be offered with both 1498 CC petrol and diesel engine options, coupled with either manual or automatic transmission choices. Both engine configurations come with 6-speed transmissions and substantial 50-litre fuel tanks.

One of the standout practical features is the massive 622-litre boot space, which significantly outperforms many competitors in the segment and addresses a key consideration for Indian family buyers.
Color Options and Availability Timeline
Tata Motors is offering the Sierra in six attractive color choices: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Cloud, Munnar Mist, Bengal Rouge, and Andaman Adventure. The base Smart+ trim, however, will be limited to the first three color options only.
While pre-bookings are currently accessible through the Tata Motors official website, formal bookings will commence on December 16. The company has announced that customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from January 15, 2026, giving the manufacturer adequate time to ramp up production and meet anticipated demand.
Market Positioning and Competitive Landscape
The aggressive pricing strategy combined with the Sierra's muscular design and practical features positions Tata Motors strongly in the hotly contested mid-size and crossover SUV segments.
