XSIO to invest Rs 600 crore in Indore logistics hub

Indore: Blackstone-backed XSIO Logistics Parks will invest more than Rs 600 crore to establish an integrated logistics hub near Indore after the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) allotted 23.33 hectares of land to the company at Machal village. The project is expected to generate over 4,000 direct and indirect jobs and will be developed with foreign investment from global asset manager Blackstone.

Strengthening Indore-Pithampur as a logistics hub

“Implementation of these projects will further strengthen the Indore-Pithampur region’s position among the country’s leading industrial and logistics hubs and open new avenues for investment and employment in the state,” said Himanshu Prajapati, Executive Director of MPIDC Indore. Officials stated that the facility will cater to industries located in Pithampur Sector-7, the Mohana industrial area, and surrounding clusters by providing integrated logistics and supply chain services.

Complementing existing infrastructure

The project will complement the Rs 1,110-crore Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) currently under development at Pithampur and the Inland Container Depot (ICD) operated by CONCOR. Together, these facilities are expected to create a comprehensive logistics ecosystem in western Indore and help reduce logistics costs. Officials confirmed that the state government would extend all necessary support to ensure early execution of the project.
