Kanpur Hosts Special Job Fair for Physically Challenged Individuals
In a significant initiative to boost employment opportunities for persons with disabilities, the district project management unit for skill development in Kanpur has called for the participation of more than 200 physically challenged individuals. These candidates are required to be present at the unit's premises located in Pandu Nagar, Kanpur, for a dedicated job fair scheduled to take place on February 12.
Objective of the State-Wide Campaign
This job fair is being organized as part of the extensive state-wide physically challenged job campaign 2.0. The primary goal of this campaign is to facilitate the provision of permanent employment opportunities along with respectable and competitive salaries in well-established and reputable companies for disabled individuals across the region.

A diverse array of renowned companies from various sectors and locations across the country have confirmed their participation in this fair. Notable participants include industry giants such as Tata Motors, as well as other prominent organizations like Sanden Development Group, Cogent E-Services Limited, Cyfuture Limited, Canvin, and Asort Staffing Services Limited.
The local administration has set an ambitious target to recruit at least 50 eligible and qualified candidates through this specialized job fair. This effort underscores a commitment to enhancing the economic inclusion and social integration of physically challenged persons in the workforce.

In a related development, the chief minister of the state will honor the District Magistrate and his team from the top five districts that have demonstrated exceptional performance in the ongoing physically challenged job campaign.
