The Indian government is set to release the 23rd instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme on June 20, 2026. Mandatory eKYC for Beneficiaries

To ensure seamless disbursement, the government has made eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) mandatory for all beneficiaries. Farmers who have not yet completed their eKYC must do so before the release date to avoid any delay or cancellation of benefits. The eKYC process can be done through Aadhaar-based OTP verification or by visiting a Common Service Centre (CSC).

Farmers can check their eligibility and payment status on the official PM Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in). Steps include:

  • Visit the official website and click on 'Beneficiary Status'.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number or account number.
  • Click 'Get Data' to view your status and instalment details.
