The Andhra Pradesh government has joined forces with the Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) to introduce an Entrepreneurship Training & Mentoring Programme (ETMP) designed to bolster nano and micro enterprises across the state.

Partnership Formalized at MSME Summit

The Letter of Intent (LoI) between the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation (APMSMEDC) and BYST was exchanged during the ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur MSME Growth Summit 2026’ held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Kala Vedika in Vijayawada. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ceremonially presented the LoI in the presence of senior officials, industry leaders, and stakeholders from the MSME sector.

Program Objectives and Scope

Under this partnership, entrepreneurship training, mentoring support, digital learning, and business guidance programmes will be implemented across Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to support nearly 10,000 nano and micro entrepreneurs and create a network of around 4,000 trained mentors to provide long-term guidance.

Officials stated that the initiative is expected to strengthen the MSME ecosystem and promote self-employment opportunities under the state government’s ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur’ vision.

Stakeholder Perspectives

Lakshmi Venkataraman Venkatesan, Founding and Managing Trustee of BYST, said the partnership aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with “the confidence, networks and opportunities they need to build sustainable businesses, create jobs and strengthen local economies.”
