Startup Demands and Future Plans
Rahul Ganapathy stated, "Startups have expressed their demands for better infrastructure, such as common facility centers, and the need to enhance the skill set of youngsters in the region. We will conduct similar discussions in other regions, including Madurai, Coimbatore, and Tuticorin. A comprehensive report will be submitted to the state government by CII to improve and expand the startup ecosystem across the state."
The discussions also covered emerging technologies to focus on and opportunities available for startups in the center's defense corridor and the state's agro-industrial corridor. Trichy serves as a node in both corridors. Several startups from the food, health, and tech sectors shared their challenges and sought solutions through policy decisions by the governments.
