Lenskart Q4 Profit Falls as Revenue Jumps 32%

Bengaluru: Lenskart Solutions reported a decline in fourth-quarter profit even as revenue rose sharply, driven by store expansion, higher average selling prices and growth in international markets.

Financial Performance

The eyewear retailer posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 203.6 crore for the quarter ended March 2026 (Q4), compared with Rs 220.1 crore a year earlier. Total income rose 32% year-on-year to Rs 2,564.7 crore from Rs 1,939.3 crore, according to the company’s audited financial results.

For the full financial year ended March 2026 (FY26), the company reported a net profit of Rs 500.9 crore, up from Rs 297.3 crore in FY25, while total income increased to Rs 8,988.3 crore from Rs 7,009.3 crore.

CEO Commentary

In its shareholder letter, founder and CEO Peyush Bansal said the company was entering a “compounding phase,” driven by deeper customer engagement, premiumisation and expansion across India and international markets.

Revenue Breakdown

India revenue for the company grew 44.1% year-on-year in Q4 to Rs 1,475 crore, aided by same-store sales growth of 24.2%. The company added 542 net new stores in India during FY26, compared with 282 stores in FY25, taking its presence to 3,300-plus stores globally. The Gurugram-based company’s international revenue grew 35.4% year-on-year in Q4 to Rs 1,054 crore, led by markets such as Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Smart Glasses Launch

Lenskart also said it has started rolling out its AI-powered smart glasses brand “B by Lenskart.” The company said over 30,000 customers have joined the waitlist so far.

Future Priorities

The company said FY27 priorities would include turning Lenskart into a “consumer-AI company,” expanding AI-led operations, scaling smart glasses and deepening its omnichannel retail network.
