Rajasthan's e-NAM Agri Trade Hits Rs 1.3 Lakh Crore

Jaipur: From January 2016 to January 2026, Rajasthan has witnessed a staggering 3.16 crore metric tonnes of agricultural produce traded on the e-NAM (National Agriculture Market) platform, valued at over Rs 1.3 lakh crore, an official statement said on Thursday.

State Rankings and Achievements

The state ranks second in total arrivals and first in e-trade on e-NAM, according to the statement. So far, more than Rs 505 crore has been electronically paid through 44,711 transactions, placing Rajasthan fourth in national e-payment rankings.

Platform Reach and Participants

The platform connects 15.5 lakh farmers, 87,509 traders, and nearly 28,000 commission agents, with 546 farmer producer organisations (FPOs) registered. Rajasthan promotes 138 commodities through e-NAM, which integrates 173 local mandis and utilises artificial intelligence and machine learning for quicker quality testing.

e-NAM 2.0 and Benefits

Launched in April 2016, the platform aims to help farmers access broader markets and ensure better prices. The updated e-NAM 2.0, launched on February 12, enhances interstate trade with features like automated bidding and real-time pricing. The online auction process increases transparency, enabling farmers to receive direct payments after sales.
