The much-anticipated moment has arrived for one of India's leading edtech platforms. PhysicsWallah Ltd is all set to make its grand entry into the stock market tomorrow, November 18, 2025. The company's equity shares will begin trading on both premier stock exchanges, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Strong Investor Appetite and Key IPO Details
The initial public offering, which opened for subscription between November 11 and November 13, witnessed a healthy response from investors. The public issue was subscribed 1.81 times overall, indicating solid demand. A deeper look reveals that the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) category showed the strongest confidence, subscribing 2.70 times the allotted portion.
The company successfully raised a substantial ₹3,480.71 crore through this book-build issue. This comprised a fresh issue of 28.45 crore equity shares worth ₹3,100.71 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 3.49 crore shares aggregating to ₹380 crore. The IPO had a price band of ₹103 to ₹109 per share.

Ahead of the official listing, all eyes are on the grey market premium (GMP), a key indicator of investor sentiment. Market experts report that the PhysicsWallah IPO GMP today stands at ₹9 per share. This positive premium suggests that the estimated listing price for PhysicsWallah shares could be around ₹118 per share.
This projected price represents a premium of more than 8% over the upper end of the IPO price band of ₹109 per share, promising potential gains for investors who participated in the public offer.
