Why Payment Dates Are Different
Not all Social Security beneficiaries receive their money on the same day each month. The payment schedule is divided according to birth dates.
- Born between the 1st and 10th: These beneficiaries are generally paid on the second Wednesday of the month.
- Born between the 11th and 20th: Payments for this group are typically sent on the third Wednesday of the month. For June, that payment date falls on June 17.
