The East Central Railway based in Patna is gearing up to launch five brand new Amrit Bharat Express trains. The railway division will roll out these services starting this weekend, providing passengers with much-improved travel choices.

Inaugural Services and Their Routes

Passengers can look forward to five distinct Amrit Bharat Express trains making their debut runs. The services include the Howrah–Anand Vihar, Sealdah–Banaras, Panvel–Alipur Duar, Dibrugarh–Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, and Kamakhya–Rohtak routes. Each train promises to cater to the growing demand for efficient and reliable rail travel.

Detailed Schedule for the New Trains

Saraswati Chandra, the chief public relations officer for East Central Railway, shared specific timings for these inaugural journeys. The Howrah–Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Santragachi this Sunday at 2:45 PM. It is scheduled to arrive at Anand Vihar the following day by 9:30 PM. Along the way, the train will make stops at Gaya, Anugrah Narayan Road, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, and DDU.

Similarly, the Sealdah–Banaras Amrit Bharat Express also starts from Santragachi on Sunday at 2:45 PM. This service will reach Banaras early the next morning at 3:15 AM. Key stoppages include Durgapur, Asansol, Madhupur, Jasidih, Patna, and DDU, offering convenient access for passengers across these regions.

Additional Train Services and Their Itineraries

The Panvel–Alipur Duar Amrit Bharat Express begins its journey from Siliguri on Saturday at 1:45 PM. Travelers can expect to arrive at Panvel on the third day at 11:30 AM. This route features stoppages at Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Sonepur, Patliputra Junction, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, and DDU.

Chandra further detailed the Dibrugarh–Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express. This train will leave Dibrugarh on Sunday at 11:00 PM. It is set to pull into Lucknow on the third day at 9:00 AM. The service will halt at Katihar, Naugachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Hajipur, and Sonepur during its journey.

Lastly, the Kamakhya–Rohtak Amrit Bharat Express also commences its inaugural run on Sunday. Departing from Kamakhya at 11:00 AM, it will reach Rohtak on the third day at 4:00 AM. Stoppages along this route include Katihar, Naugachia, Mansi, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Hajipur, and Sonepur.
