Coimbatore: As many as 7,181 candidates are set to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS and BDS, which will be conducted across 16 centres in Coimbatore district on May 3. The examination is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and will be held from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. Candidates will be permitted entry into the examination centres only between 11 am and 1:30 pm.
List of Exam Centres
The designated exam centres include Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sulur, PSG College in Peelamedu, Nirmala College for Women in Sungam, Kongunadu Arts and Science College in GN Mills, Government Model Higher Secondary School in Ashokapuram, Government Arts College in Coimbatore, Corporation Higher Secondary School in Sidhapudur, and Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sowripalayam, among others. Each centre will accommodate a minimum of 149 candidates and a maximum of 720 candidates.
Prohibited Items
Electronic devices such as wristwatches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, cameras, and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the examination halls. Candidates are advised to adhere to these rules to ensure a smooth conduct of the exam.
