The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has set the final deadline for AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026 applications today, with submissions closing at 5 PM. Candidates seeking entry into undergraduate nursing and allied health programmes must complete the online process within the stipulated time.
Courses and Participating Institutes
The admission includes B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic), and allied courses such as Optometry, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Technician, and Medical Laboratory Technology.
Programmes are offered across several AIIMS campuses including Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Rishikesh, Raipur, Nagpur, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Bibinagar, Kalyani and Bathinda. Candidates will have the option to select institutes based on rank and preferences during counselling.
Application Process and Fee Structure
The online application window opened on March 25, 2026, and closes today. Application status will be released on April 29, 2026, followed by a correction window from April 29 to May 03, 2026. The application fee is Rs 2000 for General and OBC candidates, Rs 1600 for SC, ST and EWS categories, while persons with benchmark disabilities are exempted from payment. Fees must be submitted online through debit card, credit card or net banking.
Entrance Examination Schedule
The entrance examination will be conducted in computer-based mode. Separate exam dates have been assigned for different courses. The B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing examination is scheduled for June 27, 2026, while the Post-Basic Nursing exam will be held on May 30, 2026. Allied courses are scheduled for July 04, 2026. Admit cards for Hons Nursing are expected on June 19, 2026. Results will be declared online, and no individual communication will be issued to candidates.
Selection Process and Instructions
Candidates must complete both basic and final registration steps, as incomplete applications will be rejected. No corrections will be permitted after final submission. Following result declaration, a merit list will be prepared. Qualified candidates will proceed to counselling and seat allocation, with final admission based on rank and seat availability.
