The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has announced that the provisional answer key for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 will be released on June 14, 2026. Candidates who appear for the entrance examination will be able to access the answer key through the official website, astu.ac.in, after 6 pm on the day of the examination.
The Assam CEE 2026 examination is scheduled to be held from 11 am to 2 pm on June 14. After the exam concludes, the university will publish the provisional answer key to help candidates review their responses and estimate their scores.
Objection Window Open Till June 16
Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key can raise objections online. The university has allowed candidates to submit challenges until 6 pm on June 16, 2026. ASTU has clarified that no objections will be accepted after the deadline. It has also stated that no further communication regarding the provisional answer key will be entertained once the objection window closes.
How to Raise Objections Against the Answer Key
Candidates can submit their objections only through the CEE 2026 login portal available on the official website. To challenge a question, candidates must log in using their credentials and pay a processing fee of Rs 500 per question. The university has advised candidates to carefully check the payable amount before making the payment. If the fee paid is less than the required amount, the challenge will be cancelled automatically and the amount paid will not be refunded. Objections submitted without successful payment of the prescribed fee will not be considered for review.
Refund Policy for Accepted Challenges
ASTU has informed candidates that if a challenge is found to be valid and the answer key is revised in favour of the candidate, the processing fee of Rs 500 per question will be refunded. All objections will be reviewed by subject experts. Based on their recommendations, the university will prepare and publish the final answer key on its official website.
Result to Be Prepared on Final Answer Key
The university will prepare the Assam CEE 2026 result on the basis of the final answer key. ASTU has stated that the decision taken by the subject experts on all objections will be final and binding. Candidates should note that challenges submitted through any mode other than the CEE 2026 login portal will not be accepted.
