The commission has revised the total number of vacancies from 1230 to 1186 after withdrawing 44 Sugarcane Officer posts, which will now be filled under separate recruitment rules.

  • Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, including photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

Application Fee

All candidates, regardless of category, are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 100 online. Additionally, candidates who do not have Aadhaar authentication must pay an extra biometric charge of Rs 200.

Examination Pattern

The BPSC 72nd CCE consists of two stages: the preliminary examination and the main examination.

Preliminary Examination

The prelims will comprise 150 objective-type questions, each carrying negative marking of one-third marks for every incorrect answer. The duration of the exam is two hours.

Main Examination

Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains. The main examination includes papers on General Hindi, two General Studies papers, an essay paper, and an optional subject paper. The commission has stated that approximately ten times the total number of vacancies will be shortlisted from the preliminary examination for the mains stage.
