The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced tele-counselling and email support for students and parents following the declaration of the Class 12 board results. The initiative, announced on Sunday, aims to assist students with doubts regarding exams, results, and evaluation, while also helping to alleviate stress during the post-result period.
Helpline and Email Details
In a post shared on X, CBSE stated that students, parents, and schools can reach out through the official helpline and email support system for guidance and clarification. The tele-counselling support is available at 1800-11-8004, providing important information and assistance on exams, results, and evaluation, while also reducing stress.
The board also urged students to use only the authorised email address for queries: resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in. It warned against sending emails to resultcbse2026@gmail.com, as that email has been unauthorisedly accessed.
Commitment to Student Support
CBSE reiterated its commitment to helping students through the post-result process. Students and parents are encouraged to connect via these official platforms for guidance, clarification, and assistance. The board emphasised its dedication to listening to students with sensitivity and supporting them during this period.
The announcement comes days after CBSE declared the Class 12 results for 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 85.20%, a decrease of 3.9 percentage points compared to the previous year. For those seeking Kerala SSLC results, they can be checked online.
