Tragic Suicide of Class XII Student in Ara Ahead of CBSE Physics Exam
A Class XII student, who was scheduled to appear for her Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) physics examination, allegedly died by suicide in the early hours of Friday morning at her residence in the Club Road area under the jurisdiction of the Ara Nawada police station in Bihar's Bhojpur district.
Victim Identified and Circumstances of the Incident
The deceased has been identified as Ananya Kumari, aged 18, the daughter of Satish Kumar Pandey, who is employed with the Indian Railways. The tragic discovery was made when she was found hanging from a ceiling fan using her dupatta at her family home.
Authorities at the scene recovered a suicide note, which provided distressing insights into the young student's state of mind. In the note, Ananya reportedly expressed that she was unable to cope with her illness and harbored fears about being incapable of taking her impending examination.

Her father, Satish Kumar Pandey, revealed that Ananya had been suffering from mild jaundice. He recounted that she had dinner on Thursday night and retired to her room to sleep, making the subsequent discovery all the more shocking. "I wonder what happened to her," he expressed in grief.
Mr. Pandey mentioned that he had advised his daughter to consider taking the examination the following year if her illness hindered her preparation this time. However, Ananya had reportedly been vocal about her studies not progressing well due to her health issues.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Ara Nawada police station, Bipin Bihari, provided details of the initial investigation. "As per our preliminary findings, the girl was ill and was under significant tension due to the upcoming exam," he stated.
The police were alerted about the incident at approximately 2:30 AM on Friday. A team promptly rushed to the location and arranged for the body to be sent to Sadar Hospital in Ara for a postmortem examination. Additionally, a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team arrived at the scene to collect and analyze evidence as part of the standard investigative procedure.
