With this development, the announcement of results is anticipated shortly on the official portal. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access their scorecards at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg by entering their application number and password or date of birth.
Final Answer Key Prepared After Objection Review
The provisional answer key for CUET PG 2026 was published on April 11, allowing candidates to raise objections until April 14 by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 per question. The final answer key incorporates all valid challenges submitted during the objection window and serves as the basis for result declaration. The updated key reflects the accepted objections and will be used for final evaluation. Candidates are advised to check the final answer key on the official website to verify their responses.
Examination Details
The CUET PG 2026 examination was conducted in computer-based test mode from March 6 to March 27, 2026, spanning 21 days. It covered 157 subjects, including Science, Humanities, MTech, Language, Acharya, and common papers. Three daily shifts were scheduled at 9 AM, 12:30 PM, and 4 PM. Candidates who participated in the exam can now prepare for the result announcement.

Once the result link is activated, candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecard:

- Step 2: Click on "CUET PG 2026 Score Card"
- Step 3: Enter application number and password or date of birth

- Step 5: Download the scorecard PDF
Scorecards will also be available via DigiLocker. Candidates are strongly advised to download and retain printed copies for use during counselling and document verification processes.
Admission Process and Qualifying Criteria
To qualify, candidates must secure at least 45% marks, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per central government norms. There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking; the published result will be treated as final. Participating universities will release individual cut-offs, merit lists, and eligibility criteria. Counselling will be conducted separately by each institution, and candidates must apply independently for courses and universities of their choice.
Approximately 45 central universities, including the University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Jamia Millia Islamia, will use CUET PG scores for postgraduate admissions. Additionally, nearly 40 state universities such as Delhi Technological University, Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi, and Gurugram University will also consider these scores.
Application Timeline and Participation Details
The CUET PG 2026 application process began on December 14, 2025, and concluded on January 14, 2026. A correction window was opened on January 28 for candidates to make necessary changes. Candidates who had completed or were in the final year of their undergraduate programme were eligible to appear, with no age limit prescribed by NTA.
Last year, 6,54,019 candidates registered for CUET PG, of whom 5,23,032 appeared for the examination, marking the highest participation since the exam’s introduction in 2022. The CUET PG 2026 scorecard will include details such as candidate name, roll number, subjects attempted, raw marks, normalised score, percentile, and qualifying status. The result will remain valid only for the 2026–27 academic session.
