The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially announced the Class 10th Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results for the year 2026. The results were made available on the board's official website, gseb.org, on May 6, 2026. Students can now access and download their provisional scorecards by entering their six-digit seat number on the portal. The board has clarified that the results published online are provisional, and original marksheets will be distributed by schools at a later date. Additionally, students can use DigiLocker to download and securely store their marksheets. Since 2024, the results have been released at 8 AM. Notably, the board does not release an official toppers' list.
Overall Performance and District-Wise Highlights
The GSEB has reported a strong performance in the Class 10 SSC Result 2026, with the overall pass percentage rising to 83.86%, up from 83.08% in the previous year. This increase of 0.78 percentage points indicates a steady upward trend in student performance across the state. Among districts, Narmada emerged as the top performer with a pass percentage of 90.85%, while Panchmahals recorded the lowest at 76.42%. At the centre level, Ajol in Gandhinagar achieved a perfect 100% pass rate, whereas Munkholsa in Dahod reported only 33.74%. The number of top performers also saw a significant rise, with 35,508 students securing an A-1 grade, compared to 29,055 last year.
Steps to Download the GSEB SSC Class 10th Result 2026
Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their scorecards from the official website:
- Visit the official website: gseb.org or gsebeservice.com.
- Click on the link that reads “SSC Result 2026”.
- Enter your six-digit seat number in the login field.
- Complete the captcha verification, if prompted.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Your provisional marksheet will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout for future reference.
Students are advised to carefully check all details mentioned on the marksheet and save a copy for admission and documentation purposes. The results can also be accessed directly via the link provided on the Times of India website for convenience.
