Preparations and Coordination
Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma and Haryana Yog Ayog Chairman Dr. Jaideep Arya co-chaired a multi-department review meeting at the Mini Secretariat to finalize arrangements. The event is jointly organized by the Haryana Yog Ayog and the Ayush department, with support from the district administration. Separate nodal officers have been appointed for security, parking, and traffic management. The Red Bishop Convention Centre has been designated as a backup venue in case of inclement weather.
Run-Up Events and Participation
The celebrations include a series of preparatory events. A marathon will be held on June 15 from Town Park to Tau Devi Lal Stadium, expected to draw 2,000 participants. Special yoga sessions for public representatives and senior officials will take place at the parade ground from June 16 to June 18, following block-level mass training camps that concluded on June 13. Dr. Jaideep Arya stated that the state-level event will see participation from the general public, social organizations, and various yoga institutions. To boost attendance, Dr. Arya proposed a missed-call-based registration system and noted that over 100 international participants are expected at the Panchkula venue.
