After this deadline, applicants will be required to pay a late fee of ₹1000. The board will accept applications with the late fee only until June 5, 2026. The compartment examinations are scheduled to take place in June and July 2026.

- Essential Improvement Category: Fee ₹700 per subject; deadlines same as above.

Eligibility Criteria
The compartment examination is specifically designed for students who were unable to pass one or more subjects in the annual board examinations. On the other hand, the improvement examination is intended for those who wish to enhance their marks in selected subjects. Fee Details for Class 10
For the Class 10 compartment examination, students must pay ₹700 per subject. The same fee applies to the essential improvement category. For optional improvement in one or up to three compulsory subjects, the fee is ₹950. For one additional subject, the fee is ₹700. The last date for fee submission without late fee is June 1, 2026, while applications with a late fee of ₹1000 will be accepted until June 5, 2026.

For the Plus Two compartment and English-only examination, the application fee is ₹700. Students applying for improvement of performance in one or more subjects must pay ₹1150. Diploma holder re-appear candidates also need to pay ₹700. For one additional subject, the fee is ₹700. The deadline to apply without late fee is June 1, 2026, and applications with a late fee of ₹1000 are accepted until June 5, 2026.
