JEE Advanced 2026 Results Announced: Shubham Kumar Secures Top Rank
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 results have been officially declared. Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the top-ranked candidate in the Common Rank List (CRL). He achieved an impressive score of 330 out of 360 marks, securing All India Rank (AIR) 1. This year, 1,79,694 candidates appeared for both papers of the examination, out of which 56,880 qualified for inclusion in various rank lists.
Top 10 Rank Holders in JEE Advanced 2026
The top 10 candidates in the Common Rank List are as follows:

- Kabeer Chhillar – 329 marks – IIT Delhi
- Jatin Chahar – 319 marks – IIT Delhi
- Mohit Shekher Shukla – 319 marks – IIT Madras
- Kuchi Sandeep – 318 marks – IIT Madras
- B Jayakrishna Srinivas – 314 marks – IIT Bombay
- Arnav Gautam – 314 marks – IIT Delhi
- Kanishk Jain – 313 marks – IIT Bombay
- Medisetti Naga Saharsha – 312 marks – IIT Madras
- Darsh Sikka – 311 marks – IIT Delhi
IIT Delhi Zone Dominates Top Positions
The IIT Delhi zone has demonstrated exceptional performance, with its candidates securing the top three positions. Shubham Kumar leads with 330 marks, followed by Kabeer Chhillar (329 marks) and Jatin Chahar (319 marks). The top 10 list includes four candidates from the IIT Delhi zone, three from IIT Madras, and two from IIT Bombay. Notably, Mohit Shekher Shukla of IIT Madras secured the fourth rank with 319 marks, while Kuchi Sandeep from the same zone claimed the fifth rank with 318 marks.
Female Topper: Arohi Deshpande Achieves CRL 77
Among female candidates, Arohi Deshpande from the IIT Delhi zone emerged as the highest-ranked, securing CRL 77 with 280 marks out of 360. Other leading female candidates include Korukonda Sravya from IIT Madras (CRL 111), Sanvi Patidar from IIT Bombay (CRL 158), Reddi Sai Sahithi from IIT Bhubaneswar (CRL 230), Aashi from IIT Roorkee (CRL 781), Anushka Agrawal from IIT Kanpur (CRL 859), and Agrima Singh from IIT Guwahati (CRL 1857).
Qualification Statistics: Over 56,000 Candidates Qualify
Out of the 1,87,389 candidates who registered for the examination, 1,79,694 appeared in both papers. A total of 56,880 candidates qualified, including 10,107 female candidates. Among all appeared candidates, 1,39,131 were male and 40,562 were female. The number of qualified male candidates stood at 46,773, while 10,107 female candidates qualified.
Zone-Wise Qualified Candidates
The IIT Madras zone recorded the highest number of qualified candidates at 14,294, followed by IIT Bombay with 12,389 and IIT Delhi with 10,697. The IIT Roorkee zone recorded 5,637 qualified candidates, while IIT Kanpur had 5,552, IIT Bhubaneswar 5,428, and IIT Guwahati 2,883.
Chairman's Message on Eligibility and Counselling
Prof. Kamal Kishore Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee and Chairman of the JAB, extended his congratulations to all qualified candidates. He stated: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all candidates who have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2026. This achievement is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence. All qualified candidates are encouraged to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counselling and seat-allocation process, irrespective of their Class XII (or equivalent) marks. However, the final admission shall remain subject to the fulfilment of the percentage-related eligibility requirements and other applicable conditions prescribed in the JEE (Advanced) 2026 Information Brochure.”
The results are now available on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check their scores and rank cards and proceed with the counselling process as per the schedule.
