KCET 2026 Schedule Undergoes Major Revision

The Karnataka Examination Authority has announced significant changes to the KCET 2026 examination calendar. Students preparing for engineering and pharmacy entrance tests need to mark new dates on their calendars.

Revised Examination Dates

KEA has shifted the engineering and pharmacy examinations to May 25 and 26, 2026. These papers were originally scheduled for April 23 and 24. The authority made this decision during the ongoing registration process.

However, the language paper presents a different situation. Originally set for April 22, this examination has not received a new date yet. KEA will announce the rescheduled language paper date separately.

  • Registration Deadline: March 15, 2026
  • Admit Card Release: May 1, 2026
  • Result Declaration: June 30, 2026

The examinations will follow a two-session pattern each day:

  1. Morning session: 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM
  2. Afternoon session: 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM

Application Process and Requirements

Candidates must complete their registration through the official website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The application requires several essential documents:

  • SSLC or Class 10 mark sheet
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Active mobile number with WhatsApp access
  • Valid email address
  • Scanned photograph and signature in specified formats

Fee Structure for Different Categories

  • General category: Rs 500
  • SC/ST candidates: Rs 250
  • Outside Karnataka candidates: Rs 750
