The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is set to announce the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 results shortly on its official portal, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. According to the latest update from KEA, the Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 scorecards will be released after June 1, 2026. More than 3.3 lakh candidates who participated in the examination will be able to view and download their KCET 2026 results online.

How to Access KCET 2026 Scorecard

To access the KCET scorecard 2026, candidates must enter their application number and the first four characters of their name on the login portal. The KCET 2026 examination was conducted in pen-and-paper format from April 22 to April 24, 2026. The question paper comprised multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark, with no negative marking.

Uploading Marks for Result Preparation

The Karnataka Examination Authority has also instructed students who appeared for the UGCET 2026 examination to upload their marks on the KEA portal to facilitate the result preparation process.

Steps to Download KCET Result 2026

Candidates can follow these simple steps to check and download the KCET result 2026:

  1. Visit the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “UGCET Result” or “KCET Result 2026” link on the homepage.
  3. A new login page will open. Enter the application number and first four characters of your name.
  4. Click on the submit button. The KCET 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen.
  5. Download and save the result for future use.

Post-Result Process

After the declaration of results, KEA will also release the KCET 2026 rank list. Candidates included in the rank list must complete the document verification process. Following this, the authority will begin the option entry process, where candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses. The admission process will then continue with seat allotment, fee payment, and reporting to the allotted college.
