The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially declared the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results for the academic year 2026. The overall pass percentage recorded across the state stands at 89.79 per cent, as announced by Trigun Kulkarni, the chairperson of the board, on Saturday.
Performance by Gender
Continuing a consistent trend observed over the past several years, female students have once again outperformed their male counterparts in the Class XII examinations. The pass percentage for girls is 93.15 per cent, while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 86.80 per cent. This gender gap of 6.35 percentage points is in line with historical patterns.

Students can access their scores online starting from 12 noon on the official websites. To manage the high traffic and prevent server overload, the board has activated multiple platforms. Students can check their marks on the official websites as well as through DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Additionally, SMS services have been arranged for students who experience slow or unavailable online platforms.

- Visit any of the official websites: mahresult.nic.in, mahahsscboard.in, or hscresult.mkcl.org.
- Click on the link titled 'HSC Examination February 2026 Result'.
- Enter your Seat Number and your Mother's First Name (if no mother name is listed, type XXX).
- Click on 'View Result'.
- Download or print your digital mark sheet for future reference.
