The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially released the provisional answer keys for the MHT CET 2026 examinations conducted for admission to several undergraduate programs. These include Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM). Candidates who appeared for these entrance exams can now access and download the provisional answer keys from the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org.
Objection Window Open
The CET Cell has also opened the objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the provisional key. According to the official notice, the objection facility will remain available until May 23, 2026. To raise objections, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question challenged. This process allows candidates to seek corrections if they believe any answer in the provisional key is incorrect.
Steps to Raise Objections
Candidates can follow the steps given below to challenge the provisional answer key:

- Log in using the required credentials.
- Open the “Objection Tracking” facility.
- Select the question for which objection has to be raised.
- Upload supporting documents or proof.
- Submit the objection form.
- Pay the required objection fee.

MHT CET 2026 Counselling Process
After the objection window closes, the CET Cell will review all objections and release the final answer key. Based on the final key, the results will be prepared. Candidates who secure the qualifying marks in the examination will become eligible to participate in the MHT CET 2026 counselling process. During counselling, candidates will have to fill in their preferred colleges and courses for seat allotment. Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s rank in the examination and the preferences submitted during the counselling process.
