The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released the provisional answer key for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) computer-based test conducted on 15 May 2026. Key Details of the Answer Key and Objection Window

According to the official notification dated 19 May 2026, the objection facility will remain open for three days, from 19 May 2026 at 11:30 AM to 21 May 2026 at 11:55 PM. Candidates must submit their objections within this period, as late submissions will not be entertained. The objection management link is hosted on a digital examination platform accessible through the NCERT website. To raise challenges, candidates need to log in using their credentials and review the answer key. All objections must be supported with valid references, and only those submitted within the stipulated time will be evaluated.

Recruitment Overview and Vacancies

The NCERT Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025-26 drive aims to fill 173 posts across various categories, including Clerk, Assistant, Lab Assistant, Multi-Tasking Staff, and other administrative roles. The vacancies are distributed as follows: 9 posts at Level 10-12, 26 posts at Level 6-8, and 138 posts at Level 2-5. Eligibility, Age Limit, and Selection Process

The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 40 years, with relaxation applicable as per government rules. The crucial date for age calculation is 16 January 2026. SC, ST, and PWD candidates are exempt from fees. The application process commenced on 27 December 2025 and closed on 30 January 2026, with an extension provided by the council.
