A 21-year-old NEET aspirant from Jharkhand was found hanging in his hostel room in the Coral Park area under Udhyog Nagar police station in Kota district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Alveen Kumar, who had moved to Kota last year to prepare for the NEET exam. He was enrolled in a coaching institute and was residing in a hostel.
Details of the Incident
According to police officials, the student is suspected to have died earlier in the day. However, the exact time and cause of death will be confirmed only after the postmortem report is received. No suicide note was recovered from the room.
Circle Inspector Anil Tailor stated that the body has been shifted to the mortuary, and the family has been informed. The postmortem examination will be conducted after the arrival of the family members.
