NTA Extends NEET UG 2026 Bank Detail Deadline to June 22

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for NEET UG 2026 candidates to submit their bank account details for examination fee refund until June 22, 2026. The facility is available on the official website, neet.nta.ac.in, until 11:50 pm.

Extension Details

The extension comes after nearly 13 lakh candidates updated their bank details on the NEET UG 2026 registration portal. The NTA stated that the deadline has been extended to assist students who have not yet completed the process.

Background of NEET UG 2026 Cancellation

The NEET UG 2026 examination, conducted on May 3 for admissions to medical courses, was cancelled on May 12 following allegations of a paper leak. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the matter. A fresh examination is scheduled to be held on June 21.

While announcing the re-examination, the NTA confirmed that candidates would not have to pay any fee for the retest. The agency also assured that the examination fee already paid by students would be refunded.

The refund facility was earlier available from May 22 to May 26 on the NEET UG 2026 registration portal. The earlier deadline for submission was May 27.
