The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has officially announced that the results for the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination for 2026 will be declared on May 2 at 4 PM. Alongside the HSC results, the board will also release the outcomes for the State Open School Certificate (first) and Madhyama examinations on the same day.
How to Check Results
Students can access their results online from 6 PM onwards on the official websites: www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in. For those in areas with limited internet connectivity, the board has arranged an SMS service. Candidates can type OR10 and send it to 5676750 to receive their marks via text message.
Tabulation Register Download
Heads of educational institutions will be able to download the tabulation register (TR) from 7 PM on the same day from the official websites. The TR is essential for schools to complete the necessary formalities for students who need to appear for the supplementary HSC examination in 2026.
The announcement was made by BSE President Srikanta Tarai in a press release on Thursday. This year's result declaration follows the standard procedure, ensuring that students across the state have multiple ways to access their scores. The board has emphasized the importance of timely dissemination of results and has made arrangements to facilitate a smooth process for both students and schools.
Students are advised to keep their roll numbers handy and check the official websites for any further updates. The supplementary examination will provide an opportunity for those who wish to improve their scores or who could not pass the regular examination.
